Premier League: International Break Is What Some Clubs Need?

The European League is on break because of the World Cup qualifying games. The major leagues being the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue One has seen some clubs struggle. Among them, Manchester United has splashed out 89 million pounds for Paul Pogba but they have not been consistent. How would the break impact on some clubs and how bad do they need it?

Javier Hernandez has been a revelation ever since he joined Bayer04 Leverkusen. His hatrick against Mainz in matchday five helped Bayer04 Leverkusen tremendously leading them to 10th place on the log. Chicarito is third on the top scorers list with usual suspects Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski pegged at five each. Chicarito has been voted the best player of the league in September and with such form he can singlehandedly turn Leverkusen’s season.

New Barcelona Hero Arda Turan Goalscoring Form Incredible

Arda Turan joining Barcelona in 2015 raised many eyebrows because of the teams suspension on featuring players until January 2016. He came into the team replacing Ivan Rakitic in matches but his goalscoring form in the 2016/17 season has been incredible. In the absence of Lionel Messi, Turan has supported Suarez and Neymar beautifully with the scoring of goals. Would Arda continue his goalscoring form?

Benzema Out of France Squad Again

Karim Benzema has been left out of France’s two World Cup qualifying games against Bulgaria and the Netherlands. Zidane has supported Benzema perfectly throughout his suspension from the French national team but this time his omission has been centered on performances. Benzema has not been himself but Zidane has been keeping him regularly in the Starting XI. When would Benzema’s performances improve and when would he be recalled intothe France National Team.
